Cabinet software used to build custom cabinets

Cabinet Software Creates a Precise Cutlist in Two Easy Steps

1. Choose a Cabinet Configuration

Select a cabinet configuration from a wide selection of configurations with fully adjustable cabinet openings.

For example, CabinetCRUNCHER uses a naming convention based on cabinet openings. For example, a '2L-3R' is any cabinet that has two (2) openings on the LEFT side of the cabinet and three (3) openings on the RIGHT side.

Each cabinet opening can be any adjusted to any size and used for any purpose.  For each opening, you can choose to install either single or double doors, individual drawers or a bank of drawers, or you can designate it as an 'open space' (with or without shelves) for a bookcase, display, media center, etc.

Build it as a Base Cabinet, Wall Cabinet, Built-In Cabinet, or any type of Free-Standing Cabinet.

Create individual cabinets or combine various cabinet configurations together with software for building a wide variety of custom kitchen cabinets, vanities, bookcases, hutches, entertainment centers, built-in furniture, storage cabinets, shop cabinets, and much more.

2. Select Your Construction Preferences

Adjust your cabinet construction using the yellow fields.

Details matter! Each cabinet design project is unique, therefore you need cabinet software with flexible construction options. The more details that are resolved prior to construction always produce the best results!

  • Build either Face Frame or Frameless Cabinets
  • Use any type of pocket-hole, dado, or rabbit construction methods
  • Customize your cabinet by adding special features such as end panels, mitered or revealed edges and corners, recessed back    panels, fixed or removable shelves, fixed or removable bases and more.

For a small project, the entire cabinet is engineered and ready for construction. Simply print the cutlist and begin construction with all the information you need to build the cabinet.

For larger projects, combine all your cabinets into a "Project". Your project will include a full cutlist for your entire project, and automatically calculates a complete List of Materials, List of Doors (including drawer fronts and applied end panels), List of Drawers & Rollout Trays, Hardware List, and Project Cost.

Fully Automated Project Lists

CabinetCRUNCHER automatically compiles the data from all your individual cabinet cutlists into a series of "Project Lists".  For example, if you build a set of kitchen cabinets, CabinetCRUNCHER will organize your project into the following project lists:

  • List of Materials
  • Cutting List of Cabinet Components
  • List of Doors, Drawer Fronts and Applied Panels
  • List of Drawer Boxes and Roll-Out Trays
  • Hardware List

Cabinet Cutting List

This cabinet software produces an itemized list of all the cabinet components for your entire cabinet building project. This cutting list includes the size, quantity, material type and thickness of each cabinet you add to your project.

CabinetCRUNCHER is a spreadsheet program that uses Microsoft Excel to generate the cutting lists for all your cabinets.  Use the power of Excel to filter, sort, and arrange the cut list based on your preferences. For example, you could filter the list to only include the stiles and rails for your face frames, and then arrange the list based on length (longest to shortest). Print a copy of your filtered cutlist and you're ready to go to the shop!

List of Materials

CabinetCRUNCHER automatically calculates a List of Materials that includes the cost and quantity of all the materials for your entire cabinet making project. The list calculates how many sheets of plywood you need to build all your custom cabinets, and the quantity of board feet or lineal feet of hardwood for your face frames.

The program calculates the exact total material quantity used on your cut lists and adjusts for waste based on a percentage that you can assign.

List of Doors, Drawer Fronts & Applied End Panels

CabinetCRUNCHER generates and list of the finished size and quantity of all cabinet doors, drawer fronts and end panels for your entire project.

You can filter, sort and arrange the door list based on your preferences.  For example, you can filter the list to show only the doors for your project, then sort the doors by width (largest to smallest).

If you intend to build your your own doors, you can import this list into DoorCRUNCHER to create a complete cut list.

List of Drawer Boxes & Rollout Trays

Automatically generates a list of all drawer boxes & slide-out trays.

This list can be imported into DoorCRUNCHER to create a complete door cutlist for your entire project.

You can filter, sort and arrange this list based on your preferences.

Hardware List

Compiles a complete hardware list based on your assigned cost.

List of Cabinets

Produces an itemized list of each cabinet in your project. The list includes the cabinet size, location, quantity of cabinet doors, drawer fronts and end panels, and costs.

It supports industry standard case construction methods, like pocket holes, biscuits, dowels, dadoes, and flushed or rabbetted back panels. Other specifications include door and drawer overlays (or insets), shelving requirements, end panel details, requirements for mitered edges and other special features that are required during the fabrication and assembly process.
