This cabinet software produces an itemized list of all the cabinet components for your entire cabinet building project. This cutting list includes the size, quantity, material type and thickness of each cabinet you add to your project.
CabinetCRUNCHER is a spreadsheet program that uses Microsoft Excel to generate the cutting lists for all your cabinets. Use the power of Excel to filter, sort, and arrange the cut list based on your preferences. For example, you could filter the list to only include the stiles and rails for your face frames, and then arrange the list based on length (longest to shortest). Print a copy of your filtered cutlist and you're ready to go to the shop!
CabinetCRUNCHER automatically calculates a List of Materials that includes the cost and quantity of all the materials for your entire cabinet making project. The list calculates how many sheets of plywood you need to build all your custom cabinets, and the quantity of board feet or lineal feet of hardwood for your face frames.
The program calculates the exact total material quantity used on your cut lists and adjusts for waste based on a percentage that you can assign.
CabinetCRUNCHER generates and list of the finished size and quantity of all cabinet doors, drawer fronts and end panels for your entire project.
You can filter, sort and arrange the door list based on your preferences. For example, you can filter the list to show only the doors for your project, then sort the doors by width (largest to smallest).
If you intend to build your your own doors, you can import this list into DoorCRUNCHER to create a complete cut list.
Automatically generates a list of all drawer boxes & slide-out trays.
This list can be imported into DoorCRUNCHER to create a complete door cutlist for your entire project.
You can filter, sort and arrange this list based on your preferences.
Compiles a complete hardware list based on your assigned cost.
Produces an itemized list of each cabinet in your project. The list includes the cabinet size, location, quantity of cabinet doors, drawer fronts and end panels, and costs.
For larger projects, combine all your cabinets into a "Project". Your project will include a full cutlist for your entire project, and automatically calculates a complete List of Materials, List of Doors (including drawer fronts and applied end panels), List of Drawers & Rollout Trays, Hardware List, and Project Cost.
If you are a professional cabinetmaker, CabinetCRUNCHER will calculate the total cost of your materials and labor using pricing and rates based on your specifications. Quickly produce professional customer proposals and estimates using your project data.

Software created for cabinet making are now specialized Computer Assisted Design (CAD) applications for designing and manufacturing cabinets, with capabilities such as 3D rendering, panel optimization, generation of cut lists, label printing, Computer Numerical Control (CNC) integration, and custom report generation.
In most software available today, the creation of both face-frame and frameless cabinets with a variety of joinery configurations are allowed. These configurations include butt, dado, blind dado and ready-to-assemble (RTA) options. In short, most software now gives users complete control of every facet of cabinet construction. For example, Cabinet Cruncher, a simple software based on ‘Microsoft excel’ and ‘Google sketchup’, can create custom cut-lists for a large number of free-standing base cabinet, wall cabinet or bookcase configurations. It supports industry standard case construction methods, like pocket holes, biscuits, dowels, dadoes, and flushed or rabbetted back panels. The frameless version supports ‘True32’ construction methods while face frames can be sized to support all scribe and case mounting requirements. Kitchen cabinet plans and cut list
Specific details can also be calculated, such as the number of sheets and lineal footage of materials, as well as sorting cabinet components by size, width, length or material type.
Cut-list notes can also change automatically based on specifications regarding joinery methods, location and depth of rabbets and dados, face frame scribes and offsets. Other specifications include door and drawer overlays (or insets), shelving requirements, end panel details, requirements for mitered edges and other special features that are required during the fabrication and assembly process.
