System Requirements: Excel & SketchUp
Microsoft Excel
- Version: Requires Microsoft Excel (2007 or newer). This is included with Microsoft 365 and most Office suites.
- Updates: Please ensure all Microsoft Excel updates are installed on your computer for best performance.
- Mac Users: To run our software on a Mac, you must use a Windows-based version of Excel running on a Windows OS (such as via Parallels or Boot Camp).
Windows or Mac Operating Systems with Windows Virtualization*
Windows PC: Fully compatible with all versions of Windows, including Windows 11 and earlier.
Mac Computers*: To run our software on a Mac, you must install the Windows version of Excel within a Windows environment. You have several options:
- Virtualization: Run Windows as an "app" alongside macOS using Parallels Desktop or VMware Fusion.
- Free Alternatives: Open-source tools like VirtualBox or UTM also allow you to run Windows on your Mac.
- Intel-based Macs: You can use the built-in Boot Camp Assistant to install Windows natively on your hard drive.
SketchUp (Optional for 3D)
- 3D Visualization: The CabinetVIEW library requires SketchUp to create 3D models and presentations.
- Compatibility: You can use any desktop version of SketchUp or the Free Version, which works great with our library.
