No, they are integrated into a single, powerful application. When you purchase our software, CabinetVIEW is included as a core component of the CabinetCRUNCHER system.
This unified setup works as a bridge between your 3D design and your construction requirements:
By combining 3D visualization with our industry-leading cut list calculator, we provide a "design-to-build" solution that covers every step of your cabinetmaking process.
While CabinetCRUNCHER is a powerhouse for kitchen cabinetry, its true strength lies in its total construction flexibility. Because the software allows you to define your own dimensions and construction methods, it is an excellent tool for virtually any type of carcass-based woodworking project.
You can easily use our software to generate accurate cutlists for:
Why it works for all custom projects:Instead of being limited to a few "standard" sizes, you have control over every variable. Whether you are building a floor-to-ceiling library with specific rail heights or a free-standing dresser with unique drawer clearances, CabinetCRUNCHER calculates the math based on your design. If you can build it using cabinet-style construction, our software can crunch the numbers.
Yes. One of the greatest strengths of the CabinetCRUNCHER and CabinetVIEW system is its total construction flexibility. Our software is not "hard-wired" to a single building style; instead, it is a versatile engine that adapts to your specific shop standards.
Whether you are building traditional face frame cabinetry or modern, "full-access" frameless (European) cabinets, the system handles the calculations with precision.
How the software adapts to your style:
By adjusting a few simple settings in your configuration, you can switch from one construction method to another in seconds. This makes it the perfect solution for custom shops that need to pivot between different client requests without learning a new software package.
Each purchase includes one license entitlement. While each unique installation requires its own registration key, we understand you may need to use the software in both your office and your shop. Please contact us directly if you need to install your software on a second computer for your own personal use.

This typically occurs if the key files are not in your (C:) root directory as per the installation instructions. It can also happen if you’ve moved to a new computer or replaced your hard drive/motherboard. In these cases, a new registration key is required. Contact us for assistance.
This is usually caused by Windows security permissions. To allow saving, ensure the program folder is not set to "Read-Only" and that you are running Excel with Administrative privileges. Please refer to the Installation Instructions for the step-by-step security settings guide.
No, the programs are separate but complementary. CabinetVIEW is for 3D layout and visualization, while CabinetCRUNCHER is the engine that calculates your cabinet cutlists and costs. You use the 3D model to finalize your design, then enter those dimensions into the cut list software. Learn More
CabinetCRUNCHER requires the desktop version of Microsoft Excel for Windows. It is not compatible with Excel for Mac or iPad. However, Mac users can run the software successfully using Windows emulation software like Parallels or Boot Camp. Please see our System Requirements for more details.
